Senior Systems Engineer

You turn requirements into actionable decisions

As a Senior Systems Engineer, you play a key role in applying systems engineering across complex offshore projects. You help align requirements, establish practical processes and support project teams in working with a clear and effective methodology.

You’ll work on major projects such as 2GW platforms and floating offshore substations. You take the lead in how requirements are captured, managed and translated into design criteria. You liaise with clients and internal teams, establish verification and validation processes, and use tools such as Relatics in a way that works for the entire project team.

From tender through to delivery, you ensure that client expectations are properly captured and that information remains accurate, up to date and accessible. You guide colleagues, from engineers to project managers, in applying systems engineering in practice, providing structure without limiting their professional expertise.

Alongside your project work, you contribute to the further development of systems engineering within Iv. You help develop templates and internal standards and contribute to a consistent, practical approach across projects.

You’ll be part of the Systems Engineering department within the Digitalisation cluster of our offshore division at Iv. You’ll work in a multidisciplinary environment with plenty of scope for ownership, collaboration and well-informed, content-driven decision-making.

What do we expect from you?

• Master’s degree in a technical field

• At least 5 years of experience in systems engineering within complex projects

• Experience setting up and implementing SE processes

• Strong understanding of V&V methodology and tooling such as Relatics

• Clear communicator across technical and project roles

• Analytical, pragmatic and able to move teams forward
