Senior Project Manager – Keep Complex Projects on Track

A technically complex project requires someone who can maintain an overview when many things are happening at once. As a Senior Project Manager at Iv-Offshore & Energy, you’ll bring together technology, people, planning, and budget, and ensure that commitments are actually fulfilled.

From the start, you’ll provide direction for multidisciplinary projects and the project team. You’ll allocate tasks, monitor progress, and keep a close eye on quality, schedule, and budget. In doing so, you’ll focus not only on the schedule but, above all, on achieving a successful end result. You identify deviations early on, discuss additional and reduced scope of work with the client, and make adjustments when necessary. You also monitor contractual obligations and ensure clear project reporting. This keeps both the team and the client informed of the project’s status.

You also coordinate the commercial aspects of the project. You prepare budgets and proposals, review time sheets, and ensure the correct information is available for project administration. You serve as the client’s primary point of contact. You discuss progress, technical decisions, and financial agreements, and ensure that decisions are properly documented. At the same time, you monitor quality within the project and take corrective action if results fall short. Where necessary, you work with the QO manager to develop practical procedures and work instructions.

You’ll work with specialists who love technically complex projects but don’t like to overcomplicate things. At , short lines of communication, in-depth knowledge, and a pragmatic approach are key. Problems don’t linger for long: together, we look for a solution that makes technical sense and is feasible. You’ll have the freedom to approach your role in your own way and take responsibility for the decisions made within your projects.
