Bring structure to complex 3D designs

Designing complex offshore wind projects, such as the 2GW project in the North Sea or innovative hydrogen projects, requires vision, structure and leadership. As Team Lead E&I Design within Iv-Offshore & Energy, you will be responsible for managing, coordinating and optimizing all E&I 3D design activities across various projects.

In this role, you will oversee the entire E&I 3D process. You will coordinate the E3D activities in close consultation with project leaders, lead designers and other disciplines. You will draw up resource plans, monitor progress and actively make adjustments based on performance and KPIs. In addition, you will oversee the quality of all deliverables and ensure that designs meet the specified requirements and standards.

You will play a key role in improving and standardizing 3D work processes. You initiate optimization, encourage automation and ensure uniform working methods, templates and best practices. You also organize model reviews, audits and quality checks, and actively contribute to continuous improvement and knowledge retention within the discipline.

What do we expect from you?

• At least 8 years of experience in E&I 3D design

• At least 3 years of experience in a leadership role within E&I design

• Experience with multidisciplinary projects and a desire to seek collaboration between disciplines

• Demonstrable experience with E&I 3D design of offshore platforms and/or electrical HV substations

• Extensive experience with E3D and Navisworks

• Good knowledge of the E&I design process and the E3D modelling process

• You can plan realistically and ensure that deliveries are made on time and to the required standard

• You are a born leader: you take responsibility, provide direction and get people on board

• You communicate clearly and professionally in Dutch and English
